In a world overflowing with evil and hardships, it is essential to have at least one friend to help you through whatever you may be dealing with at the time. The good thing about a real friend is that they will be there for you. Sometimes in certain situations, your family is of no help, and this is where your friend is especially helpful to you.

Unlike most things in this world, to have more friends is not always better. You only need one true best friend. Everyone has to deal with hardships in there life, from a death in the family, to a serious illness, to just the minor mishaps you always seem to find yourself, It is always nice to have a friend there to counsel and talk you through those events in your life.

Friendship at times, can be more important than family. At certain times in your life, it is much easier and helpful to go to your friends for advice and help. Your parents sometimes don't always understand what you're going through, and you need someone else to step in and guide you. This is where friends are important. Although your friends may not be as wise as your parents, at the same time they can relate to you more than your parents could or at least you may feel that way.

Friends are not only there for you at the bad times, but they are also there for the good times in your life. To find someone that will be there for you through the good times, as well as the bad times is something very exceptional. Most friends will be there for you as long as it's convenient; as long as they are having fun they will be around you. But once things start to fall apart, then those so called friends are gone. But your real friends will be there through "thick" and "thin", no matter how "thick" the "thick" is in the situation!

In conclusion, friends are a very important part of my life. They always seem to be able to get me out of hard times. They are also there for me when no one else can be and they are always ready to have fun with me through the good times in my life. I believe in friends because they believe in me!
