Hard Work by Nathan Broeker

I believe in hard work and dedication. Those to words seem to go together quite well. You can really have hard work without some amount of dedication and it is almost impossible to have dedication without hard work, to me at least. Throughout my life, which is somewhat short compared to other's lives, I have found that with hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything that you set your mind too.

In my junior year at Seward High School I was able to start on the varsity football team as the left guard. As you can probably guess I was only able to acquire this position through hard work and dedication. Another player on the team was also trying to obtain the position of left guard. At the first summer camp my team went to the other player was able to practice more with the varsity line than I was able to. This was disappointing to me and I knew I had to become better in order to achieve the position. At the first practice I was the lineman who was put in for the open spot on the left side. It was at this time that I realized how important hard work and dedication is.

Since my junior year I have applied hard work and dedication to everything I do. I am now in the middle of my senior year of high school and I am currently enrolled in two college classes, Calculus and English. These classes are, by far, the hardest classes I have ever taken. They are a lot harder to get an A in than it was to obtain a varsity football position (a lot less fun too.) However I still have an A in both Calculus and English. I hope that my hard work and dedication in both these classes continues to produce excellent grades in both classes as well as the other classes I am taking and will take further on in my education.

I aspire to become a doctor. An accomplishment which is no easy task. To achieve my goal I will hard work and all the dedication I can muster. Not only will I need to maintain good grades but also if I do become a doctor I will have to apply theses traits to my job. I will have to be dedicated to work the long hours during residence and internship and work hard to keep people form dying. Overall I think the point of these essay convey my views for hard work and dedication as well as share a few of my experience with these traits. As previously stated with hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything that you set your mind too.
