I Believe by Gilbert Frank

I believe in a good relationship, having a good girlfriend, wife or whatever she may be. I believe in one who is faithful and would never cheat on you and never even think of doing such a thing. I believe in your special one should be there for you, no matter what you need. She's there when you are told dad has cancer and must go through surgery again to remove it. She supports you when you are told he may not live. The ups and downs are when you need her the most. She supports your dreams and your problems. She's like your best friend, but means more to you than any other thing in this life or the next.

I am in the start of the second year of my relationship with my girlfriend. Having a good relationship just isn't easy for everyone. Some people aren't ready to settle down and have one person in their life. Others are clingy and just end up pushing people away. Then there are people who just rush in and are ready for everything.

The relationship started over a year ago in November. I met her at school through a friend. She was very smart, good looking, funny and very kewl. I liked her from the first night we met. I loved hanging out with her almost everyday. I would even call in sick to work just to go hang out with her! She was just a blast. It didn't matter where we were, she could make a rainy day the funniest day of your life. We always had fun conversations about our day and what we did. We talked about dreams and wishes. It is a dream come true, ha it's not all easy.

You also fight about dumb things and you make up and say you're sorry. A kiss and its all better for a few days. You are jealous of another boy she talks to and hangs out with. It's true love seeing her at a dance in a beautiful dress. The slow song, being close to her, holding her tight showing your love for her. It's a long night at a party getting mad and showing you care about her safety and fighting because she says don't worry. It's the next morning apologizing about the things you said. It's getting a promise ring because you wish to show her your love for her.

I believe in a good relationship. The relationship is only good when you experience every aspect of it. If you say you have a perfect relationship you are dumb. But you say you never fight, never argue about anything then your relationship is fake. It is not a real relationship you have to have ups and downs, fights, makeup everything. If none of these you really don't care for her.

In conclusion, there is no perfect relationship but there is a good relationship. It involves fighting, making up, almost breaking up and sticking together through it all. When you make it to one year it's the first greatest day of your life. That's a good strong relationship. I laugh at anyone who says they have a perfect relationship. I Believe in Relationships.
