I Believe in Passing English 12 by Austin Krivda
I believe in passing English 12, so I will continue my streak of never failing an English class, so I can graduate mid-term and so I will retain the lessons and messages of English 12. Those are the reasons I want to pass English 12!
The first reason I want to pass English 12 is so I can say I have never failed an English class! This is important to me, because it looks good if you don't fail a class. I have rarely failed a class until my senior year and I only failed one class until I was a senior. I had intended to keep it that way until I had Psychology. I like passing classes because it gives you a sense of self accomplishment!
The main reason I want to pass English 12 is so that I can graduate mid-term. I really want to graduate mid-term, so I can get on with my life. I've gone to school for 12 years and ready to be done with it. After school I'm going to get a job, build up some cash and maybe then I will go to college, but I'm going to take some time off!
The last reason I want to pass English 12 is so I retain the knowledge of English 12. I don't know if it's the lesson of honesty learned from The Outsiders or the tale of love like in the Great Gatsby, but probably the most important thing I learned was to get your work done before the last two days of the quarter. I'm learning to be responsible.
Those are the reasons I believe in passing English 12, whether it is to keep a streak going and never fail an English class or retain the lessons learned from the novels. The main reason is to graduate early and do all that. But the most helpful is the knowledge you will learn in English 12 are that the lessons and messages are important and will be useful in life. That is why I believe in passing English 12.
