I Believe in Music by Holly Mashek

I believe in music. I believe every song has a powerful story behind it. In every song there is a different story to be told and many different ways to be expressed. Music can be beautiful and some music can make you get very emotional. Music can affect our lives in many different ways, like the way we walk, talk, dress, and even the people we hang around with! No matter what music you listen to, make sure you will always be yourself and no one else. All that you can be is yourself. Country music tells a story about things that either happened to the singer in their lives or even other peoples stories it may talk of people in the war and how their families at home are dealing with their loved one being over seas. It may talk of the wife cheating on the husband or even people fighting and getting hurt.

My favorite type of music would have to be rap, but the funny thing is I can't even name one rap song because I love too many songs. One of the songs that I happen to like and I heard it at the Seward High Opening Night It's called "Fire and Rain". It has very beautiful lyrics. I heard this song for the first time at Opening night and I am learning about this song in American pop music.

If I am in the mood to listening to country music, one of my favorite songs would have to be "Good Time" by Alan Jackson. This is a very fun up beat song and makes people want to dance. Alan Jackson won an award for this song at the Country Music Awards. Having a good time is the story behind this song and people like to have fun so this is a great song to listen to when you're having fun. I also like the song "Johnny and June". This song is about love and no matter what kind of trouble they would get into they would always be there for each other!

I believe that everyone reacts to songs very differently. Then others and some may even be offended by some of the things that the singers say. They may even get very violent. I believe that you should be very selective about the music that you enjoy. Before you make the decision about what music you like, make sure you listen to a variety of stations and a lot of songs just make sure that you will like the music, then make sure the radio station is best for you.

I believe that every song can affect you life. They can also affect your emotions and the way you act. If you get offended easily add to violent music it is important to care to what you listen to, because you don t want your own story to be a tragedy, like so many songs.
