I Believe in Skateboarding by Scotty Triplette

I believe in skateboarding for many of reasons. One reason is that it is a way for me to get out and get active. Another is that it is very enjoyable to do when you are very bored. My last reason I believe in skateboarding is that it gets me away from my problems that I am having in my life. Finally, I believe in skateboarding because of Rodney Mullen.

Skateboarding is a very active way to lose weight. It uses a lot of your energy because you are always pushing the board to keep momentum. With skateboarding you build up your endurance of your body. Although it might not look like it you have to use a lot of muscles to pop your board off of the ground. You also use a lot of muscles that you wouldn't normally use.

Skateboarding is an enjoyable way to spend your time. It is enjoyable because there is always a new trick to learn. There are a lot of tricks to skateboarding. Not even the best skaters can do all of the tricks in skateboarding. My favorite trick to do is a kickflip. This is where the board spins away from the body and you catch the board with your feet and land on the ground.

Skateboarding also is a great way to get rid of my problems. If I am mad, I will grab my board and go skate. It helps because you don't have to worry about all of the little stuff. This is because you really have to focus your mind on skating. Plus, when you work out, it is a great stress reliever.

Rodney Mullen was a big inspiration to my skateboarding. Rodney is the best skater to skate the face of the earth. The reason I say this is because he has created over half of the tricks in skating. He has been skateboarding his whole life. That's all he has ever wanted to do. He makes every trick he does look as easy as it gets. I have seen every video he has on the internet at least ten times. He had a rough life growing up and skating is what helped him out through everything. He is the least dramatized skater today. He doesn't want a T.V. show or any thing like that. All he wants to do is skate. He will die skating and he wants nothing more than a skateboard under his feet and being free in what he does best.

This is why I love skateboarding. I love it because it sets you free from the normal life. It gets you the exercise that you need to stay in shape. Also it is a great to spend spare time that you have nothing important to do. The reason for me skating goes to one and that would be the one and only Rodney Mullen. The reason for liking him so much is because he don't need a T.V. show to get him popular. He is popular for what he loves to do, skating and skating only.
