I Believe in Music by Selena Sermeno

Do you like music? What kind? Pop, rock, rap, classic, jazz, country, disco, metal, hip-hop, techno, folk, opera, oldies, newies? There are also very many different instruments to play these types of music with. Music has been in the world for centuries and centuries. Its mostly divided into six sections. Medieval, renaissance, baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary. You can find music pretty much anywhere. It is in every culture. Its in all countries, states, religion, and more. Its today. I believe in music.

Today's music is many different things in peoples lives. Music is passion. Music is faith. Music is life. Today you can download many songs on an ipod and carry it around with you everywhere, so music is literally everywhere. Nature even has music in their lives. Animals pound on objects to make rhythms and beats. The animals use sounds to communicate. The sounds they make are often very beautiful. Even rain and thunder can be music. Also city sounds, ocean sounds, such as waves, seagulls. Also you can make music with pots, pans, trash cans, spoons, knifes, forks. Nature has influenced the idea of music today. Literally you can make music out of anything. Maybe that's one of the reasons music is so popular today. I believe in music.

Play an instrument makes the music even better. It is an awesome feeling when you learn how to play a great piece of music. It makes the song sound great. You can play an easy instrument that just makes music on its own or you can play a harder instrument that involves vibrations creating sound. Whether you play piano, guitar, sing, or use a different instrument it makes you and other people feel great. It makes you and other people happy when you use your skills in music, that is if you have any. I believe in music.

Music can heal people. It can help solve peoples problems. It can also create problems too I guess but usually it gives the solution to help them out. Emotion, stress, family, love, you name it and music will probably help you out, but it does effect you differently depending on what kind of music you are listening to at the time. Such as sad, happy, love, screaming, fast, slow. Jazz might get you in a mellow mood, classic might relax you, or rock could get you jumping off the walls, who knows? I believe in music.

So, with all the things you can do or the things it could do to you, music is wonderful. Some people love to compose the music, some people love to play it and some people just listen to it. It all has an effect on all of us. For me, its fun playing bass guitar, and piano. Whether it's the composer, singer, listener, its in everyone's life. I could not live without music. It fulfills my life. It's my life. It completes me. I love to listen and play music. I believe in music.
