I Believe in Music by Sethea Spidell

I believe in music. Music is the key to my soul, helping me to concentrate on anything I do.

People look at me funny because I always have headphones attached to my head. Well, I say to heck with them, music is my life. It makes me happy and keeps me out of the dark, dank recesses of my mind.

Music is the friend who's there to talk to when I'm feeling down. It won't judge me or laugh and I always know what it'll say. Sure, it's not a person, it's just a bunch of words and rhymes but, it's like my chocolate ice cream for when I am depressed.

Music keeps me sane. With out it, I am the missing link. It wakes me up and tunes out people who laugh and point. Go ahead, make fun, I don't give a hoot.

Why do I believe, you ask? Music is my sunshine on a rainy day. Music is my buffer, when my siblings won't go away! I believe in music, so, please don't point and stare. Music makes me happy and if you don't like it the doors right over there!
