I Believe in Art by Elena Wilson

If you want to know what I believe in, then here I go, telling my thoughts on why I believe in art.

Why I believe in art is because you can find it everywhere. What I mean by that is art can be in the dusty blue sky or on a piece of clothing. It not just painting and drawing on paper. It a way of life to me. Buildings are art to me. How they have to sculptor it into the shape they want and how tall the building has to be in an art form. Art takes planning and timeless work, just to get one part right. Art does not have to be in art galleries or museums. It can be on the street for hundreds of people like, you and me to see, time and time again, even if half of us are too busy to enjoy it.

When I draw, it's like I don t have to think. Bout what might happen today or tomorrow! But just feeling free to be me and giving that to the art as will. No one is there but just me and my art. No orders from anyone, no nothing from people how need me to do something. But my heart is saying that art is what I am.

Like I said before art is a way of life to me. It's what gets me up in the morning and through the days of the week. I just want to make something that people can stop through their busy life and look at what they are missing. For they can see the beauty of art.

When I think of art, I think of a cold Christmas day. I think of people with their families drinking hot coco, snuggled in a blanket, watching one of those Christmas movies, that we love to watch, not caring about tomorrow. It is art just staying there being with your family. Laughing at how your dad baked the food. Art is just thinking about what's right in front of you. That's why I believe in art.
