I Believe in Diesel Technology and Farming by Joe Lintt
Diesel technology and farming are a long and never ending process. Let's begin by discussing diesel technology. Diesel engines will never die, because diesel is a renewable fuel. Diesel fuel is a "trash" fuel and can be made from food grease, found in restaurants, old oil, and petroleum jelly. These "trash" substances are very common to find today. I believe in diesel technology.
Diesel engines are the heart of America. They pack plenty of power to get the job done, over the road or just straight up in the field. I love the way a diesel engine sounds. Just listening to it sounds like its saying "I'm hungry for another Prius or Minivan". For this reason, it makes me laugh and reminds me of how much power these engines have.
A diesel engine is a heat compression engine that works off of its own energy. By a heat compression engine, I mean that the piston puts so much pressure on the fuel and air and is forced to ignite. This is why diesels have so much torque. Diesel fuel itself actually has to be at least 900 degrees in order to ignite. The interesting point about diesels is that the hotter the engine gets, the cooler it actually is internally.
Diesel engines are commonly found on a farm or feedlot. Farmers, cattlemen, and ranchers need strong engines, to pull strong things. For this reason, farming and diesel technology work together perfectly. Farming is one of the most important jobs in America. Without farmers there would be no food. I believe in farming.
I have told you about diesels and how it briefly compares to farming. I hope that you as a reader have learned something from this essay. I talked about diesel fuel alternatives and what the future diesel could be made out of. I also shared how the diesel engine works, and finally,I compared diesel technology and farming.
