I Believe in Art by Dylan Richters

Art is something that anyone can do. You can use it to relive stress, show creativity, and make a point. Art can be used to open a new look on life or to just have fun. I have been drawing for my whole life and it never gets old. This is why I believe in art.

Art is a great way to show creativity. You can draw whatever you want and as long as it looks good to you, nothing else matters. No matter what you draw or paint. It is still considered art. You could tell 20 people to try and draw a owl and it would come out in 20 different unique ways. People have a way they want it to look and nobody else can match it. This is why I believe in art.

Art can change the way you think about something. Art has changed the outcome of many things. Art was part of the reason Obama got elected. The Obama "HOPE" poster that was made by Shepard Fairey was seen everywhere when the 2008 election was going on. Art can also make you thing about the world around you, weather its how beautiful or corrupt the world is. This is why I believe in art.

Art has been something I have been doing for my whole life. No matter what, I can somehow set time aside for what I'm doing to attempt to show my creativity. Even if it's a doodle or something I'm acutely putting time into, I enjoy it. Art is probably one of the only things I would spend multiple days trying to finish and make it the way I want to look. This is why I believe in art.

Art is important to me because it lets me show what I'm thinking without writing or trying to explain it. Its something that lets me be creative that I can let my mind run free and that why I believe in art.
