I Believe in Bowling by Shawn Voehl

I believe in bowling. I have been bowling as long as I can remember and I am a pretty good bowler. There are two types of bowling, I will also share information about my favorite bowler.

I have been bowling since I was a little boy. I am still bowling to this day. I have fun when I bowl against other good bowlers. I have fun when I bowl with my friends, because I don� t have to try and I can just mess around. I personally have seven bowling balls that I use. I have to get rid of one of them because it is broken. I bowl for the high school team and this year I am the Captain. When I bowl, I have to block everything out or I will bowl badly. I have to ignore the crowd and friends and even my coach, I believe in bowling. I have made it to state the last three years. I hope I make it to state my final year of bowling. I believe in bowling.

There are two types of bowling the old and the new versions. With the old version, you used a ball the size of a soft ball, the new version, your use a ball the size of a volley ball. The pins of the old version were long, round, and skinny. The new version of bowling has pins the same height, fatter, and they are more round. There are automatic score keepers now, but when bowling first came out you had to do it yourself. There are also automatic pin spotters. In the past, bowling alleys hired kids to set the pins back up. They were called pinsetters. I believe in bowling.

There is one bowler I like that professional bowl. His name is Jason Belmonte. He bowls with two handed instead of one handed like most people. He is my favorite professional bowler, because he bowls with a different style than everybody else. I believe in bowling.

This is why I believe in bowling. I have fun. I am good at it. I believe in bowling in Nebraska.
