Don't always look with your eyes; sometimes look with your heart. This statement is easier said than done for most people; however, I think that all people have the capacity to look beyond and above what the literal meanings of this world are and see an array of possibilities. This is called inspiration. Having the ability to be inspired causes me to realize the bigger picture in life and also living life with more motivation to succeed. People, religion, music, and the world are all ways that I feel inspired.

People spend most of their lives finding that one person that can change their lives for the better. I would think that that person would be able to show me a place filled with wonder and brilliance. Also for that person to inspire me. By complimenting or motivating me, I would feel this power within and want to make things better. This would not only occur with my other half, but also with my family, friends, and even just random people I meet. Parents can inspire their children to reach their goals or even just to become wonderful parents as their own parents were at one time. Friends can inspire their own friends to live each day to the fullest or to never take any moment for granted. People on the street can give a smile and make me realize the happiness that I am missing and maybe even give me the hope of a better life to come. People are not the only inspiring tools in my life, so is my faith.

The country that I, as an American, live in today is comprised of numerous religious backgrounds, since the first amendment states that freedom of religion exists. For this reason God is not the only uplifting figure in America. Most of the beliefs of today are inspiring because they speak of good after lives. That life after this world will be better if I live my life better right now. To really be one with my religion, I believe I must be inspired and believe that my set of beliefs is correct. Music can also play a role in religion and inspire me in the same way.

Tempos and tunes or songs can cause me to feel different emotions and to think outside the box of my own world. However, this is only half or what music brings my life. The words can tell a story of hardships, love, and fun times. Both of these halves together create different feelings and different moods. Slow and steady tempos are naturally feeling songs and are typically the songs that inspire me. Whereas fast songs are not inspiring and do not move me in the sense of pouring out my emotions. Love and hardship songs are usually slow in tempo and therefore inspire me. Unlike fun songs that are typically fast and do not inspire me. In any way, music was created to show feelings that would otherwise be hidden. The world and the scenery around me can also be inspiring.

The trees and the sky and really any nature that surrounds me can also play an important role in my life. The wonders of this world inspire me because I find such extravagant scenery truly amazing. However, sometimes I take what I have for granted. This also deals with the nature I see in my own backyard. The trees and flowers that blooms each year are truly a miracle because of the harsh winter they had to undergo. This is usually over looked and pushed to the side. I try to look beyond what the world sees and find that I am truly loved for having such a beautiful world to be surrounded by. However, this understanding cannot be fulfilled unless we all realize it for ourselves.

Galileo Galilei once said, "You cannot teach a man anything, you can only help him to discover it within himself." This statement is true for inspiration. I cannot prove to anyone how to be inspired or make him or her be inspired, they have it within themselves. For this reason, many people overlook being inspired and never are. I should focus on my goals in life and live life to the fullest to understand my purpose and also to one day to feel that inspiration that other people can feel everyday.
