This I Believe by Stefan Sova
I believe in Anarchy. Social anarchy, not political anarchy. Anarchy is the only way for all people to be able to get along. With the absence of totalitarian and imperialistic governments all people could get along. If everyone could get along there would be no necessity for a government, because the people could live with out some institution telling them HOW to get along.
Totalitarian governments will dictate how and when people can interact, meaning that there is very little social contact between classes. This just helps deepen the social differences. Imperialistic Governments enslave and torture people at their will, and this does nothing more but drive people apart and feed into racism. By eliminating these types of governments it would be a huge step towards world peace.
Anarchy would eliminate social classes because most governments feed the caste ideal, because they gear more benefits toward higher classes. By getting rid of classes people would view other people as complete equals for the first time. They couldn't say He gets treated better because he makes more money, or He's worthless because he's unemployed. By getting society to hold others as equals and individuals, then a massive step towards peace has taken place.
If people could always get along and this was insured there would be no need for governments, because the complete and absolute peace would mean no chance of war. People could govern themselves without the need of a national government. There would inevitably have to be some form of government, but by eliminating most national governments there would less chance of invasions and politically incorrect and unneeded wars. This is the most important part of peace, eliminating unwarranted wars.
By eliminating totalitarian and imperialistic governments, and eliminating social classes, and getting rid of unwarranted wars, the chance for peace will be enormous. The process would be extremely hard but I believe that this would be more then worth it in the big picture.
