I Believe in Reading by Cody Winchester

I believe in reading. Recently I have picked up The Demonata Series by the author Darren Shan, who also created the Cirque Du Freak series. I had a different I Believe paper, but my teacher would not let me print it because he probably does not believe in free will. So now he wants me to do speech on running because he thinks I found success in it. Well, to tell you the truth, I found more success in reading the Demonata series then in running. Any way lets get back to the I believe in reading thoughts.

At first I hated to read. It just hit me now, during my senior year at Seward High School, that I love to read! I just read different books then anybody else. Everyone else in this school would rather read other books such as The Natural or Fahrenheit 451 or even Julius Ceaser by William Shakespeare.

But for me I like the Demonata series because it's very interesting and you have to put your imagination into it. Yes, it is about demons, but hey, I all ready read the first book in less then a week and I'm in the middle of the Second one right now. I found the Demonata LORD LOSS on the new book shelf at my local library and I thought it was very interesting.

So, I started reading it, then I got so caught up in the book that I started roaming the halls after the bell had rung for class just reading. I started reading in class. I can't even find a word to describe how good these books really are. Before I was a senior, I never even thought about reading a book outside of class until I picked up the Demonata series. Now I'm reading just for the enjoyment of reading.

So, I have described to you what I believe in, what kind of series that I'm into and why I chose this subject. I don't like doing what my teacher thinks is best for me because know body knows what else is good for me other then me. So this is why I chose reading over running. I BELIEVE IN READING.
